Return & Exchange Policy: It is the policy of DE Services, LLC & Dave’s Wholesale Cabinets that all products will be inspected upon receiving. If damaged products are received, please call our office within five business days to report damage.
If you are unhappy for any reason and would like to return your order for a refund, please refer to the following conditions:
Custom Cabinet Returns (Tedd Wood & Wolf Designer): All fully custom, semi-custom, modified, altered or installed cabinets, cabinet parts and/or accessories, and moldings can not be returned or exchanged.
CNC Cabinetry: In the event any damages or defects are found please contact DE Services, LLC within 24 hours of receiving the product. Assembly or modification of the cabinetry may void claims for damage. Custom cabinets and non-stock items will not be accepted for return. All returns or exchanges are subject to inspection and will require a 25%-50% restocking fee that will be determined by the manufacturer of the item being returned. Cabinets will be warrantied (5) years from the date of purchase to residential customers only and will only cover manufacturers defects.
21st Century Cabinetry): Assembled cabinets will not be accepted for return. All stock items that do not require assembly may be returned to DE Services un-opened and/or un-removed from its original packaging in the same condition you received it. Painted cabinets from 21st century will be limited to (3) a year warranty, stained cabinets will be warrantied (5) years from the date of purchase. All hinges and drawer slide hardware are limited to (1) year from the purchase date. Warranty only applies to residential customers only and will only cover manufacturers defects. All returns must have the original receipt dated within 30 days. All returns or exchanges are subject to inspection and will require a 25%-40% restocking fee that will be determined by the manufacturer of the item being returned.
Wolf Classic Returns: All merchandise must be in original packaging and in re-sellable condition. Approved returns are subject to a 25%-40% restocking/handling fee. All returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase. Returns for materials 31 days or more will be charged a 40%-50% restocking charge. Material over 60 days old will not be approved for return. Authorization is required for all material returns.
Returns to Hardware Manufacturers (Richelieu & Hardware Resources): All hardware submitted for returns must be in the original unopened packaging and must be in a condition to re-sell. Returns must be submitted within 30 days of purchasing. Any special merchandise ordered according to buyer specification will not be eligible for return or cancellation. Some manufacturers may require a written authorization, which must be obtained from said manufacturers customer service department before submitting for store credit or exchange. All returns submitted for exchange or store credit will be subject to a handling/re-stocking fee of 30% the original cost of the merchandise. The customer is responsible for all freight or shipping return costs. Missing merchandise claims must be submitted in writing and reported to said manufacturers sales office within three (3) days following the date the goods were received. In case of damage during transportation all claims for damages must be submitted to the transportation company.
Damaged Items: Although your packages are inspected prior to delivery, it is recommended that you inspect all packing material for damages. If there is damage to the packing material there could be damage to the merchandise that occurred during shipping. If you see visible damage and you inspect and find damage to the merchandise, please contact us immediately so we can see what needs to be replaced. All damaged items must be submitted at one time. Please inspect items before signing the packing slip, any incorrect or missing items will not be honored once the packing slip is signed. Damage due to shipping must be submitted immediately as some carrier companies only accept claims for up to 7 days after the shipment date. Photographs must be submitted showing the evidence of reason for replacement. Please note that this does not include damages caused by transportation or improper installation.
For damaged items call our Showroom at 973-794-1184. With all damaged items we ask for a picture of the damage so we can observe the damage with you and we will assist you in getting the replacement merchandise as quickly as possible.
DISCLAIMERS: The following is a brief info of the characteristics of the wood on the cabinets you are about to purchase. Please read them carefully. We truthfully mention these characteristics so you will realize that DE Services, LLC will not be held responsible for these variations in your cabinetry:
WOOD AND COLOR VARIATION: Wood is product of nature, thus cabinets may vary in color, texture and grain. Due to natural characteristics of wood species, cabinet’s variations in color, grain, mineral streaks, pinholes and knots ARE NOT CONSIDERED AS DEFECTS/DAMAGES.
GLAZED FINISHES: A glazed finish by character is an uneven finish. Some edges and profiles will appear heavier than the other and glazing may vary from cabinet to cabinet, door to drawer and item to item. This may result in overall color variations but IS NOT CONSIDERED AS DEFECTS/DAMAGES.
STAINED FINISHES: To adjust to atmospheric humidity and temperature conditions, wood by nature will undergo expansion and contraction as times goes by. Therefore, stress lines may become visible on stained or painted cabinets especially at the joints. Such occurrences ARE NOT CONSIDERED AS DEFECTS/DAMAGES.
Lost or Missing Items: If there are any lost or missing items in your order, please contact our office as soon as possible. If the shipping company cannot locate your package(s), we will put a trace on the package(s) and resolve the problem as quickly as we can.
Payment: Our payment options are cash, check and credit card. We accept Visa, Master Card Discover and American Express. All credit card transactions will incur a 4% processing fee . Sorry we do not hold open accounts..
Returns without receipt: We reserve the right to refuse a refund if you cannot present a receipt. In any case store credit will be given for any refund accepted without a receipt.
Refunds: You will receive a refund for the returned item within 60 days of the return date by DE Services a restocking fee & transportation costs will be deducted as needed. As said above restocking fees will be 25%-40% of the price paid for each item being returned. Returns are accepted for credit to dealer account only. Shipping charges will not be refunded and you shall bear all of the costs associated with shipping the returned items to the manufacturer
Storage: It is expected that you have room for storage at the job site location. We do not have room to store more than one or two cabinets. The cost of $20.00 per day will be charged and must be paid upon pick up.
Deliveries: All Kitchen and Bathroom product deliveries from our vendors are curbside deliveries only. Curbside delivery means you are responsible to carry you cabinets from the truck into your house.
In Home Delivery: You may request in home delivery at the time of ordering. Additional scheduling and time is required and additional fees will apply as necessary.
